Sean Carpenter

Sean Carpenter is a seasoned artist manager, consultant, and music industry entrepreneur known for bridging the worlds of music, brand strategy, and purpose-driven innovation. With a background in Music Industry Studies, Radio, and Television Production, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to building careers, activating brands in live entertainment, and developing creative campaigns that resonate globally.

Sean began his career at Favored Nations Entertainment, the record label of legendary multi-Grammy Award–winning guitarist Steve Vai, where he supported label operations and project management across both the main label and its digital subsidiary, Digital Nations. During his tenure, he facilitated more than 50 global releases for artists including Tommy Emmanuel, Steve Vai, and The Yardbirds, and played a key role in the distribution and marketing of David Lynch’s Transcendental Recordings catalog.

After Favored Nations was acquired, Sean relocated to Nashville to join Clearview Artist Management under Steve Schweidel. There, he worked hands-on with Grammy- and ACM-nominated talent across Country, Americana, Bluegrass, and Southern Rock, further expanding his managerial skill set and industry network.

In 2017, Sean joined McGhee Entertainment, working directly with iconic rock legends KISS on their global End of the Road Tour. As the day-to-day manager for Vintage Trouble, he led all aspects of the band’s touring, marketing, special events, and promotional strategy. During this period, he also curated and executed KISS’s global KISSTORY charity activation initiative—raising more than $400,000 for dozens of charities worldwide.

Becoming independent during the pandemic, Sean founded Mulholland Management & Consulting, where he advises artists, startups, brand teams, and entertainment companies on growth strategy, creative development, and live-event monetization. In 2021, Sean partnered with an emerging ad-tech company to develop groundbreaking live-concert media play campaigns that generated millions in additional revenue for top-tier touring acts around the world.

Today, Sean is expanding his footprint across artist development, brand partnerships, and social impact. He partners with BAM Artists, an emerging management company that champions artist protection, mental health, and authentic community building. He is also launching Charity Suite—a tour-focused CSR and philanthropy model—and developing nationwide healthcare partnerships aimed at reducing skin cancer and sun damage at live events through BrightGuard’s sunscreen tower network.

Known for his ability to connect dots between culture, commerce, and community, Sean continues to help artists and brands build meaningful impact, maximize visibility, and create unforgettable experiences in the live music space and beyond.
